Armando`s Pizza in Cambridge

The Sicilian pizza And subs are quite good. Been eating here occasionally for a year or so. Would definitely recommend for a quick bite or pickup. Eating area is clean and employees are friendly too.

Good pizza. Definitely in our top 5 in the area but not #1. They have a nice old school vibe inside. Pizza is always better with nostalgia for some reason. The staff is nice and I can usually find parking even without a Cambridge sticker

As a native new yorker, I'm pretty picky about my pizza and calzones. I'm a pizza purist, so unless there are caramelized onions (which there are not at Armando's), I'm a cheese pizza-only gal. The cheese pizza is crispy, thin crust with great sauce and cheese. The dough has a hint of sweetness and is excellent! The chicken parm calzones are GREAT, although sometimes is little inconsistent with the pieces of chicken being too big or the dough not as thin and crispy as i like it. With that said, the ratio of dough to chicken to sauce and cheese is fantastic!

Cambridge has great Pizza and this is one of my two favorite places. Not only does it have a local-and-loved feel to it, they are legitimately involved in the community. The pizza is excellent (especially the crust) and service is quick. Came here on a Sunday and had to get an extra slice, as everyone from the neighborhood came through the door to pick up their pies. Bring cash!

The chicken pizza is so worth it! The chicken tastes like good quality and they are pretty generous with it.

I'm sitting here eating my food and I had to leave this review. This food is tasty! I had the shrimp Alfredo and I am impressed. I will try more of this restaurants food. Excellent choice in herbs and spices. Thank you for not disappointing me.

Best pizza spot in greater Boston. I know, I've tried most of them but always end up back at Armandos. Try a slice of sicilian, you can thank me later!

This cash only pizza joint has one of the most authentic NY style pizzas I've tried in the Boston area. In NY I would say it was just ok relatively, but I'll definitely come back because it's hard to find decent representations.

Best Sicilian pizza in Cambridge

This is one of the best pizza places in Cambridge as an Italian I can say that this pizza is excellent. The service is great and the staff is very friendly.

Been going there since I was a kid. Moved to Texas and would make my mother pack an Italian sub with her when she flew out to see me. Went home a couple years ago and the food was exactly the same as when I was a kid. Delicious. I really miss this place.

It sure what happened to Armandos Pizza. I recently had lunch there with two other colleagues. The pizza was basically card board with sauce. I have been going to Armando’s for over twenty years and it is no longer a quality pizzeria. We ordered two pizzas and ate them right at the table. The weren’t up to par. Stale right out of the oven. No going back. Too bad.

50 years of incredible pizza! A family run business that supports the community. In my opinion, their pizza is top 5 in all of Boston. The Sicilian is #1 that I have had outside of NYC. Loaded with flavor

Good pizza, not a lot of choices in terms of appetizers. The tables should be wiped down far more often than they are. It's not terribly clean, but considering I've seen rodents in the upscale Cafe around the corner, this place is a decent choice. They are cash only.

After finding this restaurant I totally understand why they have so many decades long awards on their wall. From the pictures of the little league spanning years to the old fashion pizza always worth the trip and filling. It feels like coming back to THAT SPOT it just makes you feel welcome. The staff are patient and helpful.

Best pizza and subs in Cambridge. Been going here since I was a kid and haven't had a bad experience yet. Pizza is a more thin crust Italian style and the toppings are plentiful. The subs always have nice fresh soft bread with fresh veggies/toppings. A few of my favorites are their Italian sub which can't be beat. Their meatballs are very good. Whether you order them alone with pasta or on a sub you won't be disappointed. Last but definitely not least is their pizza! Sadly I moved out of Cambridge a few years back and anytime I am in the area I make a point to stop an grab at least a slice. My favorite is the chicken pizza with pepperoni being a close second. Such a great local family owned place. Their prices are fair (almost cheap compared to the area) and the staff are amazing. Mike will go out his way to make sure his customers are happy.

The best pizza! This is a go-to spot! Pizza never fails to please and gets devoured in seconds. Counter guys are pros and friendly. Cash only.You have not had good pizza in Cambridge until you have ordered from Armandos. This is top of the list for the special, sure fire meal for any reason.

I come often with the kids for a quick dinner or take home. Their pizzas are always fresh and crispy and with delicious flavors. I highly recommend.

Cash-only standby of the best sort of cheap pizza with a case for can/bottle sodas. Expect vinyl tables, framed newspaper articles and sports trophies, and lots of regulars coming to pick up pizzas to go. Not much ambiance but that’s not what it’s selling. The right kind of chew and just enough crunch in the crust.

What really bothered me was that it's cash only. It was my first time, I ordered through phone so I just got aware of this when I went to pick up my order. Thankfully there's a ATM on the shop across the street ($3 fee).About the food, I got an Italian sub and it was okay, nothing special tho.
